The Street and Place Name Database is a resource which provides clients with the origins of street and place names within Hornsby Shire. The information is taken from local histories, journals published by Local Historical Societies and from Local Historians themselves. Support material is also taken from other resources within the library's collections. These sources may include encyclopedias, dictionaries, biographical dictionaries and other relevant journals.
