Policies and Guidelines
The provision of services by Hornsby Shire Library & Information Service and the use of these services are guided by the following policies and guidelines.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct outlines the conduct exptected of customers in accordance with the Library Regulation 2005. The NSW Library Act 1939 (Revised 2005) and Regulations (2005) are available at www.legislation.nsw.gov.au or from library staff.
Internet Usage Guidelines and Conditions of Use
Use of the internet in the Library will indicate agreement to the Library's Guidelines and Conditions of Use. Non adherence may result in internet access being withdrawn.
Library Code
The Library & Information Services Code (207 kb) provides guidelines for the services provided by the Library and the conditions of use of those services.
Collection Development Policy
The Collection Development Policy (222 kb) provides guidelines for inclusion and retention of materials in the various collections.
