Premier's Reading Challenge

The Premier's Reading Challenge is open to children in years K-9. The challenge is:

  • for K-2 students to read 30 books in one year
  • for student at all other levels to read 20 books in one year

Additionally, K-2 students who can independently read simple chapter books are encouraged to attempt the 3-4 challenge.

For K-2, 25 books must be from the Challenge list. For the other levels 15 books must be from the Challenge list.

You can search our online catalogue to find Premier's Reading Challenge books held in the Hornsby Library collection. To find these books:

  • in the Search field, type one of the following search strings, according to the level of books that you want to look at:
