Meeting Rooms


Hornsby Central Library has two meeting rooms available for hire during library opening hours.


Rooms


Hornsby Library Meeting Room:

  • Suitable for up to 60 people, or 50 seated at tables, small kitchenette available 

Esther Wait Room:

  • Suitable for up to 30 people, or 20 seated at tables

Additional Facilities


  • A portable whiteboard, overhead projector, projector screen, and hot water urn are available at no extra charge
  • Equipment needs to be booked when hiring the room
  • Public toilets are available

Charges


Commercial rate:

  • $26.00 per hour
  • Applies to government departments, and any individual, group or organisation which charges for its services.

Non-profit rate:

  • $13.00 per hour
  • Applies to charities, community groups, and self-help groups that don't charge for their services.

Equipment hire fees:

  • Television and DVD player - $3.00 per hour
  • Electronic whiteboard - $3.00 per hour

  • Public Liability Insurance may be required
