Meeting Rooms
Hornsby Central Library has two meeting rooms available for hire during library opening hours.
Rooms
Hornsby Library Meeting Room:
- Suitable for up to 60 people, or 50 seated at tables, small kitchenette available
Esther Wait Room:
- Suitable for up to 30 people, or 20 seated at tables
Additional Facilities
- A portable whiteboard, overhead projector, projector screen, and hot water urn are available at no extra charge
- Equipment needs to be booked when hiring the room
- Public toilets are available
Charges
Commercial rate:
- $26.00 per hour
- Applies to government departments, and any individual, group or organisation which charges for its services.
Non-profit rate:
- $13.00 per hour
- Applies to charities, community groups, and self-help groups that don't charge for their services.
Equipment hire fees:
- Television and DVD player - $3.00 per hour
- Electronic whiteboard - $3.00 per hour

- A Hiring Application Form (242 KB) must be completed by all hirers
- Public Liability Insurance may be required
