Meet Suzanne Carroll, author of Over the Edge.

Suzanne Carroll is a debut Australian author whose latest novel, Over the Edge, is a romantic comedy set in Sydney. Suzanne’s novel has recently been published by The Writers Coffee Shop (Publisher of Fifty Shades of Grey).  Suzanne’s tips about getting published could be very useful for up and coming authors.

Sarah Menary comments, “This book reminded me what sweet pleasure chick lit can give. If you want the antidote to Bridget Jones without losing the comedy and warmth, read this, plus your mind escapes to sunny Sydney rather than rainy London”.

Meet Andrew TinkImage of the cover of Air Disaster Canberra by Andrew Tink

Meet Andrew Tink, author of Air Disaster Canberra: The Plane Crash that Destroyed a Government.

In August 1940, when Australia had been at war for almost a year, a Hudson bomber – the A16-97 –carrying ten people, including three cabinet ministers and the chief of the general staff, crashed into a ridge near Canberra aerodrome. In the ghastly inferno that followed, the nation lost its key war leaders – and Prime Minister Robert Menzies’ closest colleagues – Geoffrey Street, Sir Henry Gullett and James Fairbairn. What went wrong? Was the crash the result of the Hudson stalling? And who was at the controls – could it have been Air Minister Fairbairn, rather than RAAF pilot Bob Hitchcock? Moreover had it not been for the passing of Robert Menzies’ chief allies, would John Curtin have become prime minister in October 1941?
