Hornsby Earthwise

Hornsby Shire Council has a strong history of leading its community by example to progress ecologically sustainable development. To this end, Council and the community developed Hornsby earthwise, Council's framework for corporate and community sustainability initiatives, which guarantees that all projects and programs significantly contribute to achieving Council's vision of "creating a living environment". Hornsby earthwise provides a strategic direction for Council and community efforts to advance sustainability, and a collaborative, integrative framework aimed at evaluating Council's progress and building on success.
