Pre DA Assessment
The Environment Division of Hornsby Shire Council can provide a Pre-Development Application Assessment to interested people prior to lodgement of a development application with Council’s Planning Division.
The areas covered by this assessment include:
- onsite sewage management, acoustic impacts, contaminated land, acid sulfate soil, air quality, erosion & sediment control plans, soil & water management plans, stormwater devices, urban streams/watercourses, aquatic impacts, food safety, public health, and microbial control;
- threatened species, significant vegetation, vegetation management plans and noxious weeds;
- tree assessment and landscape plans; and
- waste collection areas, waste management plans and pump-out issues associated with onsite sewage management.
